Spanish-American War/WWI: Numbered Philippine Campaign Medal, WWI Victory Medal and Insignia Identified to R. E. Beebe, U.S. Army.

Includes: 1) Philippine Campaign Medal, 33-mm bronze planchet with full-wrap brooch, numbered No. 1929 on the rim. 2) WWI Victory Medal with clasps for St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne and Defensive Sector in the original cardboard box of issue. 3) Marksman badge, Pistol Expert badge and ribbon bars. Beebe was born on December 14, 1878 and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Vermont in 1900. He graduated from the Army Infantry and Cavalry School in 1907 and the Army Staff College in 1908. He was promoted to Lt. Colonel and served during WWI in numerous capacities for which he received a Distinguished Service Medal.
