Engraved Austrian Josef Fanzoi Sidelock Drilling.
Serial no. 48261, 12 gauge and 7.65mm calibers, 26-inch barrels with fixed front sight and folding rear sight. Blued finish. Top of barrel marked: JOS. FANZOI - ARMS - FERLACH - AUSTRIA. Lightly scroll engraved barrels at breech. Coin finished receiver with elaborate scroll engraving and engraved game scene to each panel. Dog and deer to left side, ram scene to right and fowl scene to floorplate. Scroll engraved blued lever and triggerguard. Finely checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and beavertail fore-end. Ebony grip cap. Sling swivels. Grooved ebony buttplate. Length of pull: 14-inches. Weight: 8 pounds.

Condition: Very good to excellent. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish with a few thinning spots, scratches / handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs and dings present to wood. Action good. Bright bores.
