Legacy Items Belonging to Texas Ranger Grady Sessums.

Comprising 1) A desk nameplate marked Grady Sessums, Sgt. / Company 'A' Texas Rangers" 2) A wood seal reading Dept of Public Safety, Texas Rangers around a cut out star form badge, about 10-inches in diameter. 3) Six B&W 8"x10" photos of Sessums, most with Houston Oilers personnel. and 4) Two tan and brown tooled Texas Rangers Co. B. marked holsters. Included in the grouping is a photocopy of a previous auction record [Austin Auctions] where some of the items here were sold as part of a Grady Sessums grouping.

Grady C. Sessums (1937-2017) was a dedicated Texas lawman who began his career as a state trooper before becoming a Texas Ranger in 1969. Rising to the rank of Captain, he served with distinction until his retirement in 1982. Afterward, he became Director of Security for KSA Industries, overseeing security for the Houston Oilers and various ranching operations. Known for his leadership, storytelling, and deep commitment to the Texas Rangers, he remained active in the Former Texas Rangers Association, leaving a lasting legacy in Texas law enforcement.
