Description
Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Shotgun.Serial no. 80276 [barrel and receiver], .410 gauge [3-inch], 26-inch barrel with modified choke and front bead sight. Blued finish. Smooth walnut pistolgrip stock and grooved fore-end. Checkered hard rubber factory buttplate. Manufactured in 1949. From The Estate of Ronald Martin.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish, with noticeable thinning to relief edges, handling wear and patches of pitting. Few scattered scuffs and dings to wood. Minor loss to right side at wrist and receiver. Action crisp. Strong bore.
