Description
U.S. Hall & North 1843 Breechloading Percussion Saddle Ring Carbine.Unserialized, .52 caliber, 21-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Breechblock marked: U.S. / S. NORTH / MIDLTN. / CONN. / 1843. Saddle ring. NWP stamped to left side of receiver. Smooth hardwood stock with two barrel bands. Metal ramrod and buttplate.
Condition: Very good. Finish a bright patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
