Description
German Gem 98 Spandau 1917 Bolt Action Military Rifle.Serial no. 7434 [barrel, receiver, floorplate and buttplate], 8mm caliber, 30 1/4-inch barrel with standard military sights. Blued finish. Top of receiver marked: 1920 / (crown) / SPANDAU / 1917. Various German proof marks. Smooth walnut pistolgrip stock with sling swivels. Metal cleaning rod and buttplate.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 90-94% finish with some minor thinning spots, handling wear and very fine patches of pitting. Few scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Crisp action. Strong bore.
