Description
Remington Rolling Block Single-Shot Rifle.Unserialized, .58 caliber, 23 1/4-inch barrel. Blued and case-hardened finish. Upper tang marked: REMINGTON ILION N.Y. U.S.A. / patent dates. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with noticeable signs of wear and patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Sling swivel and buttplate absent. Action good. Moderately pitted bore. From the Collection of James Schubert.
