Description
San Francisco Agent Marked Philadelphia Derringer Percussion Single Shot Pistol.Unserialized, .41 caliber, 2 3/8-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Checkered wood full body stock with silver furniture and wood ramrod. Scroll engraved hammer, lock and triggerguard. Blank silver shield escutcheon at top of wrist. Top of barrel marked: MAND FOR / A.J. TAYLOR & CO. / SAN FRANCO CALA. Note: According to consignor notes, this gun was Ex. California Historical Society Collection.
Condition: Very good as cleaned. Overall showing scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs, dings and cracks present to wood. Action good. Pitted bore.
