Description
Colt Model 1851 Navy Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 38479 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Etched cylinder scene. COLT's / PATENT to left side of frame. Brass gripstraps. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1854.
Condition: Very good. Finish a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scratches and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Pitted bore.
