Description
Civil War: Lot of Five State of Ohio Named Veterans' Medals.All examples have identical bronze planchets 37 mm in diameter and designed and made by Tiffany & Co., New York. Four of the examples have the issue bronze pendant; one is suspended from a German-Silver XV Corps badge. Each example has the name of the recipient engraved on the reverse. The names include A. Koenig, 4th Ind. Bat. Art. (suspended from XV Corps badge); Wm. B. Moore Co H 17th Regt Ohio Vol. Inf.; Stepn Spencer Co F 36th Regt Ohio Vol. Inf.; Hora. Conger Co B 14th Regt Inf; and Henry C. Potter Co A 23rd Regt Inf.
Condition: All examples in generally very good condition.
