Description
Scarce .410 Gauge.
Parker Bros. VH Grade Double Barrel Shotgun.Serial no. 219818 [fore-end, barrels, receiver], .410 gauge, 26-inch barrels with textured rib and fixed white bead sights. Blued finish. Case-hardened receiver and lever. Top of barrel marked: PARKER BROS. MAKERS MERIDEN CT. U.S.A. VULCAN STEEL. Dual triggers. PARKER BROS. to each side of receiver. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and splinter fore-end. Blank badge escutcheon to base of stock. Checkered factory hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull: 14 1/4-inches. Weight: 5-pounds, 4-ounces.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 96-98% finish with touch ups, light handling wear and a few very fine patches of pitting. Wood has been pinned, which indicates possible restoration and/or strengthening. Minor scuffs and dings present to wood. Action crisp. Bright bore.
