Description
Engraved French Rossi Marked Flintlock Pistol.Unserialized, approximately .68 caliber, 14-inch octagonal to round barrel with lightly carved leaf-like accents. Lightly scroll engraved hammer. Lock marked: ROSSI. Smooth hardwood straight stock. Elaborately carved and engraved brass triggerguard, escutcheon (top of wrist) and grip cap.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Action functions. Moderately pitted bore.
