Description
U.S. Bridesburg 1863 Needham Conversion Rifle.Unserialized, .58 caliber, 37-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear folding sight. Lock marked: 1863, (eagle) and BRIDESBURG. Smooth walnut full-stock with three barrel bands and two sling swivels. Metal ramrod, triggerguard and US marked buttplate.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered areas of handling wear and patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Crisp action. Strong bore.
