Description

Starr Arms Model 1858 Army Double Action Revolver.
Serial no. 15260, .44 caliber, 6-inch round barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Right side of frame marked: STARR'S PATENT JAN. 15, 1856 and STARR ARMS CO. NEW YORK to left side. Smooth hardwood grip, with cartouche to each side.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina, with noticeable signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising to wood. Action needs adjustment. Lightly pitted bore.
