Description

Apollo 12 Kapton Foil Segment Removed from the Lunar Module Intrepid before Launch. A 1.5" x 1.25" (overall) piece of foil as removed by NASA ground support crew member John Cooper. It is encapsulated into a clear 3.75" diameter x 0.875" tall display with the following text: "This is a piece of gold Kapton foil insulation removed from the Apollo 12 Lunar Module Intrepid". On the bottom is a color image of the lunar module. Excellent.
