Description
Exceptional Condition Remington Arms 1917 Russian Contract Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant Bolt Action Rifle.Serial no. 539927, 7.62x54R caliber, 30 ½-inch barrel with adjustable rear and fixed front sight. Blued finish. Bolt, trigger and cleaning rod in the white. All matching numbers including the bolt, receiver, magazine floor plate and butt plate. Top of receiver marked "[Russian eagle] / REMINGTON / ARMORY / 1917 / No. / 539927". Component parts marked with small Remington "R". Crisp Russian eagle cartouche and 1917 date stamped on the right side of the butt. Various other U.S. and Russian proofs scattered elsewhere. This example would be nearly impossible to upgrade.
Condition: Excellent. Appears unused with nearly 100% original finish and trivial storage wear on the stock. Bright bore.
