Description
Spurious Copy of a C.H. Rigdon C.S.A. Confederate Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 1480 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front bead sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Top of barrel marked: C.H. RIGDON / C.S.A. / AUGUSTA GA. Brass gripstraps. Smooth walnut one-piece grip.
Condition: Good as contemporary. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
