Description
Cased & Engraved Arrieta Model 803 Double Barrel Shotgun with Extra Barrels.Serial no. 35044 [barrels, receiver and lower tang], 12 gauge, 27-inch barrels with smooth rib and fixed front bead sight. Blued finish. Top of barrels marked: FCA. DE ESCOPETAS ARRIETA - ELGOIBAR (ESPANA) with light scroll engraving and the number 1 (accented in gilt) at breech. Elaborately scroll engraved receiver, lever and triggerguard. A (fleur-de-lis) C on triggerguard accented in gilt. Checkered walnut straight stock and fore-end (also numbered 1). Oval escutcheon to base of stock with the initials J.F.S. Pachmayr ventilated rubber recoil pad. Length of pull: 15 1/4-inches. Weight: 6-pounds, 9-ounces. Drop at comb: 1 1/2-inches. Drop at heel: 2 5/8-inches. Improved and full chokes. Sold along with 20 gauge barrels with smooth rib and fixed front bead sight. Cylinder and improved chokes. Contained in leather wrapped carrying case with green felt lining. Initials J.F.S. to top of lid.
Condition: Very good to excellent. Overall showing very light handling wear and a few minor scuffs. Action crisp. Mirror bright bores. Case showing honest storage wear.
