Description
Cased and Engraved Lefaucheux Model 1854 Pinfire Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 1630 [right side of frame], 12mm caliber, 6 1/4-inch octagonal and round barrel with fixed front sight. Top of barrel marked: INVON E. LEFAUCHEUX BRTE PARIS. Elaborately foliate scroll engraved breech, cylinder, frame, triggerguard, gripstraps and butt. Smooth walnut grip panels. Lanyard ring. Contained in fitted wood display case with green felt lining. Sold along with tool and oiler.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bore. Honest age and storage wear present to case and felt.
