Argentine D.G.F.M.-(F.M.A.P) Model 1927 Semi-Automatic Pistol.Serial no. 42430 [frame, slide and barrel], 11.25mm caliber [.45 ACP], 5-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Left side of slide marked: D.G.F.M - (F.M.A.P.). Right side of slide stamped: EJERCITO ARGENTINO / SIST. COLT CAL. 11.25mm. MOD. 1927. Checkered hard rubber grip panels. Grip safety. Lanyard ring. Base of magazine numbered: 42430. The Argentine D.G.F.M. Model 1927 is a historically significant, domestically produced clone of the Colt 1911A1. It represents Argentina's push toward military self-sufficiency and is well-regarded by both collectors and shooters.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 95-97% finish with noticeable handling wear, few scuffs and patches of pitting. Crisp action. Strong bore. Tom Mixon Collection
