Description
Victorian Era The Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment) Officers' Home Service Helmet.Fine blue wool over cork body with silver fittings and fluted spike. Under sides of visors lined with fine green leather. Velvet-backed silvered chin chain. The helmet features a finely crafted front plate surmounted with a Victoria crown, silvered eight-pointed star mounted with gilded-brass Order of the Thistle on green enamel with the motto "NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT". 2-inch tan leather sweatband with crimson silk lining.
Condition: Excellent.
