Description
US Flags: USS Maury (DD-401) 48-Star Flag.42" x 69" cotton flag used on the Gridley-class destroyer USS Maury (1938-1945). Though stationed at Pearl Harbor, the Maury managed to avoid the December 7th attack. She participated in numerous battles in the Pacific Theater, including the Battle of the Coral Sea, Midway, Guadalcanal and Saipan. Ex: Dr. Clarence Rungee Collection.
Condition: Excellent.
