Description
Neil Armstrong Autograph Letter Signed Regarding Family Genealogy. One page, 5.25" x 8" NASA letterhead, no date, Houston, Texas, to a Mrs. Wilson. It reads, in full: "Thank you very much for you letter and the clan information. I will forward it to my mother who maintains the family genealogy. I'm sure she will find it of interest as I have. Sincere Best Wishes-Neil Armstrong". Armstrong was of Scottish descent with his ancestral home being Langholm. In 1972 he was invited there for a celebration where he wore a kilt in the parade. Interestingly, six of the twelve moonwalkers were of Scottish-American ancestry. One horizontal fold, otherwise fine condition.Auction Info
