Cased & Boxed Smith & Wesson Model 19-3 Texas Rangers Commemorative Double Action Revolver.Serial no. TR1594, .357 Magnum caliber, 4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and micrometer adjust rear sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Right side of barrel marked: TEXAS RANGERS. Right side of frame marked: 1823 / STATE OF TEXAS TEXAS RANGER COMMEMORATIVE COMMISSION SEAL / 1973. Smooth walnut grip panels. Sold along with commemorative knife with similar seal as gun. Blade marked: TEXAS RANGERS 1823-1973, also serialized TR1594. Contained in wooden display case with fitted felt lining.
Condition: Very good to excellent. Overall showing very light handling wear and very few fine spots of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Crisp action. Bright bore. Noticeable storage wear present to box.
