Description
Antique Winchester Model 1876 Lever Action Rifle.Serial no. 37780, .45-60 caliber, 28-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Case-hardened hammer and lever. Dust cover. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir. Manufactured in 1883.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a bright grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Marble's aftermarket rear sight. Noticeable scuffs and dings present to wood. Cleaning rod absent. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
