Starr Arms 1858 Army Double Action Revolver with Leather Holster.

Serial no. 8300, .44 caliber, 6-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer. Left side of frame marked: STARR ARMS CO. NEW YORK / C.S.A. Starr's patent date to right side of frame. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Contained in unmarked leather holster.

Condition: Very good. Retaining traces of finish, the balance a dark grey patina with scattered areas of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Action frozen. Lightly pitted bore. Leather showing noticeable wear and cracking.
