Description
Colt Official Police Double Action Revolver with Factory Letter.Serial no. 849255 [frame and crane], .38 caliber, 2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Rampant Colt to left side of frame. Checkered walnut grip panels with inlaid Colt medallions. Round butt configuration. Sold along with factory letter date February 26, 2010, confirming configuration and shipment information. Manufactured in 1960.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 92-94% finish with some light thinning to relief edges, handling wear and very fine patches of pitting. Faint tracking line to cylinder. Minor scuffs present to wood. Action crisp. Strong bore.
