Spanish-American War: State of Wyoming Philippine Campaign Valor Medal Named to Phillip Jackson Co. H.Bronze, 38 mm rotating planchet, maker marked on the pinback eagle pendant SHREVE & CO SAN FRANCISCO. The reverse is engraved "Phillip S. Jackson / Co. H". The consignor notes that Shreve only struck 325 examples of this detailed medal.
Please note: According to Military History research, Phillip S. Jackson contracted malaria during the war and by 1906 was living in a disabled veterans home.
Condition: Very good.
