Description
Joe Bowman Inscribed Sturm Ruger Model Blackhawk Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 30-76449, .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Deep chisel style engraving done to cylinder. Ruger logo to left side of frame. Smooth walnut grip panels. Backstrap inscribed: JOE BOWMAN. Bowman was officially sponsored by Ruger and served as a prominent ambassador for the brand. He frequently appeared at major industry events like the NRA Annual Meetings and SHOT Show, where he showcased his exceptional skills in fast draw and trick shooting.
Condition: Good as partially cleaned. Blued finish mainly remaining to cylinder and ejector rod housing, the balance a bright grey patina with signs of handling wear and fine spots of pitting. Few scuffs and dings present to wood. Crisp action. Bright bore. From Joe Bowman "The Straight Shooter Collection".
