Serial no. 30-66166 [side of frame] and 2367 [base of frame], .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Barbed-wire style engraving to ejector rod housing. The number 1 stamped to base of frame and triggerguard. Smooth walnut grip panels with inlaid Ruger medallions. Backstrap inscribed: JOE BOWMAN. Joe Bowman, known as "The Straight Shooter," was a celebrated trick shooter, firearms instructor, and Western showman whose partnership with Ruger Firearms was both influential and commemorative.?

Condition: Good as partially cleaned. Blued finish mainly remaining to cylinder and ejector rod housing, the balance a bright grey patina with signs of handling wear and fine spots of pitting. Few scuffs and dings present to wood. Crisp action. Bright bore. From Joe Bowman "The Straight Shooter Collection".
