Antique Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Factory Letter and Tooled Leather Rig.

Serial no. 102941 [frame, triggerguard and butt, 3941 on cylinder], .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel. Top of barrel with two-line Hartford address. Originally blued finish with one-piece wooden grips [grips appear to be later replacements]. Left side of frame with three line, three-date markings. Triggerguard marked 45 CAL. Contained in associated tooled leather rig marked 4 3/4 OLIVE 1. Gun is accompanied by 2016 dated Colt Factory letter confirming configuration [stocks not listed], gun shipped to J.F. Schmelzer & Sons Arms Company in Kansas City, Missouri on April 26, 1886 in a shipment of 10 guns.

Condition: Very good, with some traces of original finish present, the balance a gray patina overall. Grips fine but replaced. Marred screws. Leather rig in good condition with normal wear and scuffs for its age. Action good, bore ok.
