Description
Joe Bowman Personally Worn / Handmade "Buffalo Skull" and Ruger Themed Cowboy Boots.Center of the boots feature a "Buffalo Skull", as he calls it according to family notes. Each also features the famous Ruger logo to the top, which was his biggest sponsor over the years. Boots also feature rose buds and several branding signs. Each measuring 17-inches in overall height. Heel to toe is 13-inches. These were handcrafted, designed and worn by Mr. Bowman, in his size 12.
Joe Bowman (1925-2009) was a renowned Houston-based bootmaker, marksman, and Western entertainer, affectionately known as "The Straight Shooter." His custom-crafted boots were highly sought after, with notable clients including Roy Rogers, for whom he made two pairs now displayed at the Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Museum.
Condition: Very good. Overall showing honest wear with noticeable scuffing to the soles. From Joe Bowman "The Straight Shooter Collection".
