Description
London Colt New Service Double Action Revolver with Factory Letter.Serial no. 70965 [frame and crane], .455 Eley caliber, 4 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Rampant Colt to left side of frame. London proof marks to left side of frame and barrel. Checkered factory hard rubber grip panels. Lanyard ring. Sold along with factory letter dated July 24, 2007, confirming configuration and London Armory Company shipment information. Manufactured in 1914.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 75-80% finish with noticeable areas of thinning, handling wear and pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Minor scuffs present to grips. Action good. Strong bore.
