Description
Colt New Service Double Action Revolver with Factory Letter.Serial no. 21847 [frame and crane], .45 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Rampant Colt to left side of frame. Number 3 stamped to left side of triggerguard. Checkered factory hard rubber grip panels. Lanyard ring. Sold along with factory letter dated May 3, 1995. Manufactured in 1909.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish with noticeable thinning to relief edges and backstrap, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Action good. Bright bore.
