Flown relic originally from the collection of Fred Haise.

Apollo 13 Flown Couch Swatch in Display Directly from the Personal Collection of Astronaut Rusty Schweickart, Signed and Certified. A 2.75" diameter truncated Lucite cylinder, 3.25" tall overall. Enclosed inside is a piece of couch fabric, approximately 0.75" x 1" in size, and a color mission insignia for Apollo 13. On the bottom of the mission insignia is the text: "2009/ Space/ Artifact/ Series/ This fabric flew to the moon aboard Apollo 13/ as the backing material of the astronauts' couches/ in the Command Module, Odyssey. The April 11-17,/ 1970 mission epitomized a nation's strength as the U.S./ bought the crew and their crippled spaceship home/ safely/ This artifact is from the personal collection of/ [facsimile signature]/ Fred W. Haise./ Created exclusively by the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation". Haise was the lunar module pilot of Apollo 13. Schweickart has signed on the back: "From my personal/ collection/ Rusty Schweickart". Pristine condition.
