Colt 1861 Navy Model Single Action Revolver.

Serial no. 4829 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt] and 62172 [cylinder], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. COLTS / PATENT to left side of frame. Brass gripstraps. Smooth walnut one-piece grip with Indian style decorative silver inlays. B.F.P. inscribed to butt. Manufactured in 1862.

Condition: Good. Finish primarily a bright grey patina with noticeable areas of handling wear, age and pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood, crack to right side of grip. Faint barrel address. Action good. Moderately pitted bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
