Description

U.S. Colt Navy Model 1851 Percussion Revolver.
Serial no. 91622, .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with Hartford address. Matching serial numbers on loading lever, barrel lug, frame, cylinder, guard, and butt. Wedge is un-numbered. Round triggerguard. Iron straps. Left side of frame: COLTS/PATENT/US. Inspector's initials observed at front and back of triggerguard. Manufactured 1859. Sold together with brown leather Slim Jim holster with applied belt loop.

Condition: Good. Even, mostly smooth brown patina to all surfaces with scattered patches of fine pitting. Traces of naval engagement scene remain. Right grip frame broken where right screw would be. Action tight. Holster good. Leather with some dryness. Losses at toe and to stitches to belt loop. Break in leather at belt loop.
