Description
James Rodgers Sheffield Horse Head Pommel Bowie Knife.Having a 12 1/4-inch blade. Ricasso marked: JAMES / RODGERS / SHEFFIELD. Silver horse head pommel stamped in two pieces. Nickel-silver cross guard in the style of Corinthian column. Staghorn handle. 19 1/4-inches in overall length. A fine example of a rare James Rodgers knife.
Condition: Very good. Some stress cracks to handle. Collection of a Southern Gentleman.
