Description
Evans Marked Full-Stock Flintlock Musket.Unserialized, approximately .69 caliber, 44-inch barrel with bayonet lug and fixed front sight. Left side of barrel marked: 86 1CO N 32. Lock stamped: EVANS / CP. Smooth walnut full-stock with three barrel bands and two sling swivels. R. CLINTUCK to left side of forearm. Metal ramrod and buttplate.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered areas of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Noticeable dings, scuffs and bruising present to wood. Action functions. Pitted bore. From the Collection of Dr. Phillip R. Rutherford
