Description
Metropolitan Arms Single Action Percussion Revolver.Serial no. 1886 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, butt and cylinder], .36 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front bead sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Top of barrel marked: METROPOLITAN ARMS CO. NEW YORK. Brass triggerguard and backstrap. Smooth walnut grip panels.
Condition: Fine. Retaining approximately 60-70% finish with thinning to relief edges, handling wear and patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Scuffs and dings present to grips. Action good.
