Description
Engraved British C. Ingram 1853 Percussion Volunteer Musket.Unserialized, .60 caliber, 32 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear folding ladder sight. Blued finish. Top of barrel marked: C. INGRAM 100 UNION ST. GLASGOW. Scroll engraved lock marked: C. INGRAM. Checkered walnut straight stock and forearm. Metal ramrod. Brass buttplate.
Condition: Very good as refinished. Overall showing honest age, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scattered dings and scuffs present to wood. Action crisp. Lightly pitted bore.
