Description
Colt Conversion Model Navy Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 316263 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt] and 6263 [cylinder], .36 caliber, 3 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Top of barrel marked: COLTS PT. F.A. MFG. CO. / HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Etched cylinder scene. Case-hardened frame. hammer and trigger. Two-line, two-date patent to left side of cylinder. .36 CAL stamped to left side of brass triggerguard. Smooth walnut one-piece grip.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a bright patina with noticeable areas of thinning, handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action not working, needs adjustment. Moderately pitted bore.
