Description
Cased Colt 1848 Baby Dragoon Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 12383 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .31 caliber, 6-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front bead sight. Blued case-hardened finish. Etched stagecoach holdup cylinder scene. Silver-plated brass gripstraps. Oil-finished walnut one-piece grip. Contained in wood display case with blue felt lining, bullet mold, flask and percussion cap tin.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with noticeable areas of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings present to grip. Action good. Pitted bore. Normal age and storage wear to display case.
