Description
British Brown Bess Warranted Flintlock Musket.Unserialized, approximately .78 caliber, 39-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Various British proof marks. Blued finish. Lock marked: WARRANTED. Smooth walnut straight stock. Brass fore-end cap. triggerguard and buttplate. Metal ramrod. The Brown Bess musket is one of the most famous firearms in history, central to British military power during the 18th and early 19th centuries.
Condition: Very good as refinished. Overall showing light handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
