An Unusual Japanese Percussion Tanegashima with Period Silver Mon Denoting Family Ownership.

Approximately 50 caliber, 30-inch fully octagonal barrel. Extensive Meiji registration on left side of kashi wood stock. One breech band. Overall length is 40 3/4-inches.

Condition: Overall condition of gun is fine to excellent, retaining much original russet brown finish. Minor dings and mars throughout. Action excellent. Bore very good.
