Description

Eastern Woodlands Pipe Tomahawk.
19.5" long with 6.75" tall tomahawk/pipe bowl. The haft is made of dovetailed brass & steel. The brass covering has an incised foliate design. Attributed to Eastern Woodlands [Pennsylvania] and likely dating to the mid-to-late 1700s. Some chipping and "cratering" to the blade. The brass component has a very attractive patina.
