Description
Eisenhower & Nixon: Pair of Jugate Inauguration License Plates. These 10" x 6" jugate plates were displayed on vehicles cruising the streets of Washington, D.C. for the 1953 and 1957 inaugural festivities for Ike & Dick. They are in mint condition and come with their original transmittal envelopes. They were issued to Lt. Col. James A. McCord who may have been connected with the security arrangements or served with Eisenhower during the war.Auction Info
