Japanese Gendaito Gunso Katana. Japanese Showa Era Katana 25 1/8-inch slightly curved blade with Gunso [military mount]; Shira-saya with military style tsuba. Zig-zag [gunome] with Chouji flower; Ko-maru [small] Boushi [hat or cap], with Haki-kake [broomstick like] with small Itame. Zaumei [with inscription]: Nagamitso Saku [first name production]. Tang: Ubu [original]; File marks: Kiri [cut].Condition: Hakobore [chip or nick] by the Kiri-Aaki [cutting tip]. Habaki present. Of silver-plated copper. Wooden hilt. Scabbard devoid of finish and showing wear and patina.
