Description

Calvin Coolidge: Notification Badge. This badge was worn by a member of the Notification Committee that met Calvin Coolidge in 1920 and gave him the good news of his nomination as Vice President. The badge measures 2 ½" x 7" overall. The centerpiece is an 1 5/8" button with the Capitol on one side and a displayed eagle perched on a rock on the other side, reading "Northampton, Mass. July 27, 1920." The condition is excellent.
