Description
Cabinet Photo of Annie Oakley. This scarce oval portrait of Annie Oakley taken in New York early in 1887 seems to show her with puffy eyes. She suffered occasional inflammations from the effects of black-powder smoke. The card shows minor rubbing and chips but is in otherwise good condition. The image is dramatic and crisp.
